The following map shows some of the more major airports that are worth
considering in your planning.

such as Ryan Air operate
services to many internal airports in France from the UK. See our

Apart from London, Rome and Paris, you might also think of Nice,
Marseilles, Avignon, Nîmes, Montpellier, Bergerac, Bordeaux, Tours, or
from the Iberian Peninsula - Madrid, Barcelona, Porto and Lisbon.
For Provence choose Montpellier, Avignon, Marseilles or Nice.
For Dordogne choose Bordeaux or Bergerac.
For the Loire, Tours is the place to fly to, or Paris then the train. |

hours from Nîmes; London is about 3 hours from Dover; Madrid is about 6
hours from Barcelona; Santiago de Compostella is about 6 hours from St
Sebastian which is about 4 hours from Monpazier. Chinon is about 2 hrs
45 mins from Paris. |
